What To Expect When Working With Me

Working with me is relaxed, collaborative, and always focused on bringing your creative vision to life. Whether you’re a painter, photographer, or creative director, I adapt to your process — structured or spontaneous, studio or outdoors, classic or experimental.

I’m a body-positive model who enjoys exploring movement, emotion, and form. You’ll find I’m easy to direct, receptive, and quick to understand what you’re going for — whether that’s a particular angle, mood, or gesture. My goal is for you to walk away feeling that the session gave you everything you hoped for (and a bit more).

Before the Session

I’m an email person — always reachable that way, and always responsive. I like to have a sense of your theme, tone, or visual goals at least a week in advance so I can prepare props, adjust my look, or plan logistics if the location is outside Ottawa.

If you already know exactly what you want, perfect — I’ll fit right into your plan. If not, I’m happy to brainstorm concepts, sketch out poses, or bounce around ideas until we land on something that feels right.

My sister Joanne handles contracts and scheduling details, but I personally make sure everything feels smooth and straightforward. Travel and expenses are handled up front; the remaining balance is due once you’re satisfied with the final session.

During the Session

My approach is simple: read the energy, match the mood, and keep things flowing. Sometimes that means lively conversation and creative input; sometimes it means quiet focus and holding still for a long pose.

I’m comfortable with hands-on collaboration when it’s part of a respectful and creative process — I understand that fine-tuning a pose or line sometimes requires physical direction, and I always maintain clear communication to keep everyone at ease.

You can expect warmth, professionalism, and a little humor. I’m reliable, open-minded, and present — from the first setup to the last frame.

After the Session

When our work is done, I want you to feel completely satisfied. I’m happy to discuss which images or pieces I can feature in my portfolio; the rights to the work always belong to you unless otherwise agreed.

I believe in mutual respect and transparency — you can count on discretion, credit where it’s due, and gratitude for the collaboration.

Travel & Flexibility

I’m based in Ottawa but travel for projects throughout Ontario and beyond. I’m happy to plan ahead for extended sessions, residencies, or destination shoots. Just give me enough lead time so I can make it seamless on my end.
