Hi, I'm Michele!

Nice to meet you! I’m the bold, energetic risk-taker behind Michele & Joanne MacDonald Art Modeling. I’ve always been drawn to patterns, design, and the way art shapes the world around us. As a kid riding in the backseat, I’d point out architectural details to my parents; that curiosity eventually pulled me toward art school in Alberta.

Here’s the funny thing: I was never great at drawing or pottery or painting myself. But when I discovered life modeling, something clicked. I realized I didn’t have to make the art with my hands — I could become part of the art itself. For me, posing is liberating, like the rush of a roller coaster: a mix of vulnerability, energy, and raw honesty. I love that my body, my curves, and my poses become the starting point for someone else’s creation. It’s deeply rewarding to feel useful to artists — to know that my presence sparks their work.

Behind the scenes, my sister Joanne keeps this business on track. She edits photos and videos, handles the planning, and makes sure our creative adventure stays sustainable (she even built this website!). And at home, I’m lucky to have Marcus, my partner and biggest supporter, who cheers me on in everything I do.

When I’m not modeling, you’ll usually find me soaking up movies or music — both feed my imagination and keep my energy buzzing.

At the heart of it, my work is about more than just posing nude. It’s about being open, vulnerable, and human — inviting artists and audiences alike to see the beauty of raw expression.
